About this Walk
Join Elbow Park Residents Association’s Heritage Director, Tracey J. Johnson, as she explores the heritage buildings, prominent past residents, and community highlights of one of Calgary’s oldest neighbourhoods. From colourful characters, to streetcars, to the old telephone building, this walk takes you back in time and paints a picture of what life was like in this unique and picturesque community. The tour will touch on some of the architecture, provide a before and after of some of the more notable buildings and their occupants, and give a general sense of life back 100 years ago.
