About this Walk

As a fourth generation Calgarian & a direct descendant of the late Senator Patrick Burns (one of the Big Four who founded the Calgary Stampede), Dennis Burns will begin his walk & talk at the visitor centre at Bow Valley Ranch in Fish Creek Provincial Park.

This walk may take up to two hours to complete as we view various exhibits inside the visitor centre. We will then walk around to view & discuss different points of interest from Dennis’ years at Bow Valley Ranch. The walk will take place on the valley floor on paved or hard-packed trails. There will be little or no elevation gain.
