About this Walk
Learn about the Southern Alberta Pioneers and their Descendants and the history of the Memorial Building and surrounding grounds. You will then walk down a pathway to see what remains of Lindsay’s Folly, Dr. Neville Lindsay’s failed attempt to build a grand mansion on Park Hill. The walk continues down the hill and along the Elbow River Pathway prior to heading back up to Princess Obolensky Park. On this final stop you will learn the facinating story about Russian Princess Tania Obolensky who was born in Moscow in 1913 and ended up in Calgary, living at nearby Rideau Towers.
