About this Walk
We’re exploring the neighbourhood of Calgary Marlborough, a northeast neighbourhood where together we’ll explore the neighbourhood through using a community development resource asset mapping!
Every neighbourhood is a unique and vibrant place worth exploring! Tyson is co-lead of CDLI,community development learning initiative, who has been leading asset-mapping walks around Calgary. We’re launching Part 2 of our neighbourhood asset mapping resource! This year we’re excited to teach participants how to lead their own asset mapping walk in their neighbourhood.
Move around in teams to explore, identify assets, exchange ideas and possibilities that build stronger communities. Reconvene to discuss what your teams mapped, what new or familiar assets were found and how you can take the skills learned to share in your own neighbourhood.
We’re excited to share this new resource, connect and build on our community development skills!
Calgary Marlborough is a neighbourhood that CDLI has connected with in the past and are excited to do so again!
